By organic growth, product development and acquisitions for residential and industrial applications, they have now reached a clear market leading position in 3 market segmentation: heating, drying and flaring. For their department in the region of Groningen, we are looking for a R&D Engineer.
To create solutions for the technical challenges of product development and aid in the development of tools for the creation of these solutions.1. Designs, develops and tests products based upon the product specification and project plan. Is capable of translating specifications into viable products (right level of technology and cost).2. Sets up test programs.3. Designs and builds test setups in lab.4. Organizes and coordinates the execution of test setups and makes required adjustments.5. Documents and interprets results and formulates conclusions and new ideas taking into account the impact on other processes.6. Reports on and discusses results with the internal and external customer, the project team and management.7. Represents the company at customers, shows skills, knowledge and credibility in communication with customers.8. Contributes to conceptual, breakthrough processes that may lead to new products and applications; contributes ideas and evaluates results.9. Contributes to the exchange of information and standardization.10. Offers technical advice relating to complaints and offers suggestions for process improvements.11. Takes into account valid environmentaland return requirements, efficient combustion processes, effective production methods and application high-grade materials.
- Bachelors degree in mechanical (alternatively: electrical, systems and control) engineering.- Self starting, capable of generating ideas and solutions and broad interest in technology: why and how does this work?- Strong communication skills.
